Cricket. Religion in India.
Cricket. Religion in India. If Harbhajan Singh dresses up like a mythological character, he is asked to apologize-everyone’s bothered about what he is doing. If Yuvraj Singh hits six sixes in an over, he is given one crore rupees and an imported car and a man dies because of some road construction material lying unkempt. Cricket. Religion in India. This year’s Pujas were “dampened” in Bengal because ‘Dada’ (Saurav Ganguly) is going to retire after the ongoing Australia tests and of course Tata’s leaving Singur may also be considered a reason. Cricket. Religion in India. Indian sensex is fast falling but Zaheer Khan took five wickets-lets watch the highlights, why bother about the stock prices and America-might-go-into-depression news? What difference does it make to us? Cricket. Religion in India. Sreesanth is fit to dance in a reality show but not play in a match. Reason- some sort of injury and reality show was shot earlier. Public agrees. They love watching him dance- is he lying? Who cares? Cricket. Religion in India. Question of the Blog (QOTB)-Is Indian cricket team going to make it to the ICC no.2? Answer to last QOTB-Drona. No one cares. Which movie did Dhoni see last? Bachna Ae Haseeno. Everyone cares. Cricket. Religion in India.

Hi Aditi,
Very interesting and sophisticated views! I've liked your posts so far. Do keep it up :)
I will eventually come back and leave more detailed responses...at the moment, it's too late for this brain to come up with anything but cursory appreciation :)
Hi Simi,
Glad you liked what I wrote-quite surprising actually coz I feel I don't match up to the brilliant blogs around!
By the way, where did you come across my blog?
And where are you from?
Hey!
Actually, on the contrary, I find your blogs rather well composed. For every good blog out there, there are 5 trash blogs (and by this I just mean writing style not content. That's an entirely different matter ;)).
You can thank IF and more pertinently Vijay for leading me to your blog. I went through the thread clicked on various peoples blogs and am now following the more interesting ones posted :D
